The Sony Ericsson W910i HSDPA (3.5G) Walkman Phone has some fantastic features, making this one of the best MP3 phones on the market . Alongside all the usual advanced phone features, you can also download, stream, store and play back music in your mobile. Its a very light for a 3G phone, weighing just 86 grams. Its a compact slider, with a 320x240 pixel resolution screen, expandable memory, an FM radio, 2 megapixel camera (plus a video calling camera) and Bluetooth.
The W910i has some unique user functions. Users can choose music to suit the mood with SensMe, which focuses on music tempo and style when listing music menus. Artists and Albums can also be used to find the music you want. The unique visual shows each track as dots in a matrix, placed along a horizontal and vertical axis according to their attributes. This way users can circle a group of tracks that match their mood to create a playlist, or simply select individual tunes as they wish. An alternative to the W910i's more conventional music catalogue, SensMe is the perfect way to create a soundtrack.
With your phone kit you get a CD with software for managing music, photos and video clips. Transfer music, videos and photos to and from your phone. The new media browser on the W910i places all the media in one central area, making it easy to access music, video or podcasts from one single icon on the phone menu. When you hear a song you like but you don't know what it's called, ask TrackID*. Record a few seconds of the song and use TrackID* to send the music to the Gracenote Mobile MusicID database for recognition. In seconds, you'll have the name, artist and album sent to your phone.
Extend a device's memory with the smallest memory card on the market, Memory Stick Micro* (M2*) (up to 1GB). Adaptors are available if you want to use with Memory Stick PRO-compatible products.

This quad-band GSM/EDGE handset was designed specifically with the North American market in mind, something of a rare thing at Sony Ericsson these days.
The W580i borrows a few design traits from the W880i that was announced at 3GSM. But even so, the W580i does have few of its own distinctive tricks up its 14mm thick sleeves. Most noteable of which is the curved body section at the bottom of the device that caused the Fast Port power/headset jack to be moved up to the side of the device. Sony Ericsson states that the phone will be available initially in white or gray, both of which will have Walkman orange accents.
As a Walkman phone, the W580i obviously caters to the music lover. The device ships with a 512MB Memory Stick Micro card that can hold just short of 500 songs when filled up by a PC running the included Sony Ericsson Disc2Phone software. A supplied USB cable will let the W580i be used as a USB mass storage device when connected to a personal computer. For those that prefer their music coming over the airwaves, the W580i also sports an RDS compatible FM radio. If, instead, you prefer to have your phone doing the transmitting, the W580's built-in Bluetooth stereo support will allow it to supply tunes to a pair of wireless headphones - not included.
Other features of note in the W580i include the 2 262k color display, a 2 megapixel fixed-focus camera, and a pedometer for keeping track of your workouts. In terms of software, the W580i sports a full RSS news feed reader, 3D Java games, and the Track ID application that lets users identify songs by simply holding their phone up to an audio source - like a car stereo speaker
